Fox News anchor Kiran Chetry got her panties in a bunch Saturday after she stepped off the subway with her 7-month-old daughter in an extra-large stroller and onto a platform with no elevators.

“I looked around in a panic and saw only one other person,” Chetry told Page Six. When the Fox News cutie asked the woman if she’d help her up the stairs, the good Samaritan said, “Sure.”

As so often happens in NYC, the good Samaritan in question turned out to be someone who used to be famous. Namely, “Sex and the City” star Cynthia Nixon.

Chetry didn’t realize who the helpful gal was until they got to the top of the stairs. It was Cynthia Nixon from “Sex and the City.” Miranda to the rescue.

As someone who has never seen more than one second of “Sex and the City” – mainly because, well, I have testicles and like to drink my beer out of a can – I find it a little hard to believe that Kiran Chetry did not immediately recognize Cynthia Nixon since I know I would have.

I mean, how hard is it to recognize someone from the cast of “Sex and the City” when they’re standing right in front of you, humping your child’s stroller. They do that, you know - those horny women from HBO. They can’t help but try to fuck everything they see. Just last week I passed by Kim Cattrall riding a fire hydrant. Luckily, I ran track in high school.

Same thing goes for Kiran Chetry. I may not know who she is, but if I passed her on the street one day - kicking the shit out of a homeless man while humming the national anthem - I would immediately identify her as someone who no doubt works for Fox News. Or, at the very least, someone who really hates Corey Haim.
